Hate to forget.

I forgot that I didn't have Western Civ I today, and that just made for some me beating myself up times. Now I'm just in the library wishing I had slept in. It's raining, my be was super comfy, I was sleepy and running late, and so I got here to find no reason to be here. Curse it. At least the computers let me go to blogger. I've realized in the past few months that my memory isn't as good as I thought, and I am really freaked out when I can't remember things, so these aren't nice things to realize. I've just always assumed I had a good memory, but not being able to remember things more and more (or so it seems) has made me sad.

Holmes is so terribly easy, it makes me sad a little bit. I did get a 'b' at midterm this semester, but that was in Western Civ, where our essays only count 10 percent of the test, and that's just not right. My essays rule, but my multiple choice answers aren't as spot on. What ever happened to 'if you fail the essay you fail the test'?

It seems I'll be missing the cross roads film festival this time around. I need to find out the dates for everything two weeks in advance, and then remember to ask off, so I miss quite a few things. But at least more people will be in town for it, and I can hang w/ said people after work. Oh, after scoop shop work, huzzah! Andrew is now in charge of the schedule and he actually is scheduling me for other things besides expo. Also, there is now one other expo, so that helps. I feel like expo is what I do now though. In the scoop shop I feel awkward because of it being moved, things in different places, and working with different people. At expo I still work with Max and Jon, so all is well. And getting off earlier that scoop is something I dearly enjoy.

Well, I guess I'll get ready for music appreciation, or at least my test in there. Adios.

Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi

Goodbye Heath Ledger. I'm going to miss you, you were really good, and only chose good things to be in, something that's harder to find these days. At least your talent was acknowledged before your death.

He was found unconscious by his housekeeper and a masseuse in his bedroom, they tried to revive him, but couldn't, and by the time 911 arrived his was in cardiac arrest.

It's supersonic!

On better notes, today I gave Michael a ride to Brookhaven, and the ride back was very fun, being as the first time I even got on the interstate was today. I got to drive fast in the dark with few people to disturb me. Quite fun. Oh, and Ammon, I got your present and now I feel very obligated to watch and know Dr. Who inside and out before I can take it anywhere, but, I think this is a good thing, since I enjoy the show, I just never managed to watch it consistently. Now to write awesome secret messages!

I like my title for two entries ago, because days later it snowed. And I felt it! and promptly went back to sleep. Twas amazing. I tried to wake up Michael, but to no avail. I want to avail more often.

I wonder how many times I'll get lost in the near future.

Oh! and Ammon, your present arrived today, but I don't know if you picked it up. Give me your thoughts.

Why destroy?

So I've just come from crap. We were parked in Belhaven (we were exploring Newell field) and Michael's dad's car was vandalized. It was egged and the driver's side window had a meeting with a rock, and let me tell you, rock beats window every time. Why can't rock beat paper? That's for later thoughts.
A car had its window broken earlier mere yards away, but broken glass like that isn't too uncommon, and so those asses got second breakfast.

I think I saw the car that did it maybe, and Roberta, if you see a white almost SUV type car, maybe kind of like a dodge calibur or magnum.. like, a short SUV looking thing (it was from a ways away), you get that license number, or call us and we'll beat them up.

This really sucks because Michael's parents are just going to blame him just like they do for other car related things that weren't his fault, cus they suck like that.

A report got taken down by a cop. And I had to sit on glass.

Snowball's chance in MS

So, I got my license today. Granted, my intermediate, but I care not for the law! And so I will stay out past ten.

I'm actually in classes with a couple of people I know, and I have people I can talk to outside of class from the get go, which is pretty cool. Today I actually saw Terri for realz, and tomorrow is my first day of Music Appreciation, which is a two and a half hours and only meeting once a week, so I hope it's not horribly boring.

I'm starting to see more and more people who go to Holmes at other places, and it makes me feel like Jackson is too small, but at the same time it's fun because I feel like I'm knowing more people.

Kyle got Rock Band the other day, and I ended up playing guitar because people wanted to play other stuff. While I sucked horribly, I got my bearings a bit, and that game is so awesome. Because the developers got to see the flaws of guitar hero beforehand, it totally rules. And the guitar itself is so much better looking. So much.

I want someone to play Super Mario Galaxy with me.

Christmas time is here

Okay, so I'm in Kentucky once again, so as to shop my heart out right before christmas, and then shop some more after and spend some time with "the fam." I'm looking forward to seeing my brother when we reach Louisville, and I'll feel good once I've actually gotten presents for someone. Anyone. Just one. It feels a tiny bit more like the holiday season, but it's still not there. I'm not expecting much more either. It's like 60 tomorrow here, but it's supposed to suddenly drop temperature christmas day, and boy am I looking forward to that. I should see Sweeney Todd and National Treasure 2 whilst being here, since that's what my brother and I do when we're bored, but who knows with him living here now, he could have like.. friends and stuff. But I brought the Wii just for him, since he's been vidi game deprived.

Either way I should see National Treasure 2 late at night right around christmas, since it's our tradition that got started with teh LOTRs. Go see the latest showing, and when you get out it should be snowing. That last part will probably not prevail this year though.

Anywhoo, all I'm trying to say is, I have internet in Bowling Green!!! thank YOU laptops and neighbor's unrestricted networks.

Ima Robot

So, I haven't been reachable; my phone breathed its last breath, and now that I have a new phone (a shiney razr 2,) but my pre-exam week is way more tedious and time consuming than my exam week because various things are due and I have to give a speech on something I've learned in my life which I wish to imbue to the audience. This is a tough topic it seems since I'm not going to flick through an advice book to do it. I want it to mean something to me, at least a bit, but I can't really think of anything past "don't procrastinate, or you'll end up at holmes, but i guess you already know that."

Moving on, really what I'm trying to say is, with work on top of school, I'm a bit crushed at the moment. I have less schoolwork than you university folk, but I also have less time to do it.

And to top it off I have to sign up for next semester and that in itself could take hours, and it needs to be done right around the same time as everything else.

On a prettier note, the notebook I use for class is this green fabric notebook with a lightning bolt on it that I've tried to use for a couple of years, but it never quite fits in my backpack and I give up. In using it now, it's becoming amazingly colorful and full of well thought out doodles and symbols. Due I guess to being stuck in the library with nothing to do because I had done all my homework at the beginning of the school year. Now I just try to think of more things to put on it. Almost like stickers, but I make them. I don't know if this makes a lot of sense, but whatever it makes, I think that notebook is becoming my almost sole artistic outlet, and I have a bigger socket than previously thought.
